Emmanuel Olalere from Geekception – Enjoying the inflight entertainment

By Other Expats

“People are going to have a different perception of me and you, and I might as well own it…I cannot change people’s perception overnight, but I can show them that I’m willing to work hard, dedicate a lot of time to this endeavour.”

And work (very) hard, he does. Emmanuel runs Geekception, one of Malaysia’s top gadget-review YouTube channels, and we talk about chasing his dreams and leaving a lot behind.

We also talk about taking time to enjoy the “in-flight entertainment”—all the small things that make life more bearable. How he kicks back and enjoys the flight through life, whether there’s turbulence or not, and what’s next for Geekception.
